Hi there, I am Wayne Burton. I am an injured jockey. I sustainted head injuries and a T4/5 complete spinal injury at Exeter racecourse on March 4th 2008. I currently live in Hungerford Berkshire in England.
I have now taken a shine to coarse fishing and I am getting very involved in the match side of the sport now. Having only been doing the match side for just over a year and I have had some great results so far plus winning a few trophies.
I am looking towards the future and have a great passion to help racing charities in any way espcially to raise money for the Injured Jockeys Fund and Racing Welfare.
I have trained in the Rewalk suit and had my first week on the 3rd of September 2012and hope to do more training so I can do a big fundraising event in the future!!!
